Responsibilities included:

·   Led the effort on building, maintaining and reporting (weekly, 3 week look ahead, and monthly) reports for 100 construction schedules with engineering milestones to include Capital, Expense, and Turnaround Projects.

·   Temporarily took over the role of reporting progress for 4 months along with my other duties. This entailed setting up new jobs and maintaining existing projects as needed to support the Clients weekly and monthly cost/progress reports on 160 construction projects

Responsible for:

 

Leading a group of (1-14) estimators on (1-3) projects concurrently to develop conceptual, budgetary, definitive, and lump sum (TIC) estimates.

 

Defining the scope, generating a basis of estimate, selecting historical data and/or factors to apply to the project, archiving all information upon completion of the estimate, sourcing vendors/subcontractors and validating there quotes, building lift plans, assigning construction equipment/facilities/staff to the project, generated project org. charts, hand sketched piping isos and general arrangements when engineering was not complete.

 

Scheduled job kick off meetings with all stakeholders, generated lists of deliverables, presented the final estimate in the corporate review.

 

Generated training modules which were presented to other estimators on a weekly basis.

 

Projects worked on include the following:

·   (EPC) - Cobra Castor Underground Gas Storage Project: Wellhead platform bridge linked to a production, utilities, and quarters off the shores of Spain

·   (EPCM) Tenaska Energy: Taylorville Energy Center (IGCC): Taylorville, IL. Kiewit Energy Co. and the engineering firm Burns & McDonnell to conducted the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) study and facility cost report 3.5B TIC for the Taylorville Energy Center (TEC), a 720 MW (600 MW net) hybrid IGCC electric generating facility

·   (C) Tesoro Refinery: Crude Unit T/A: Kenai, AK

·   (C) B.P. Whiting: Coker Unit Expansion: Whiting, IN entailed modular structures, piping, equipment, and foundations for the new expansion.

·   (C) Jordan Cove Liquefaction Project. Located in Coos Bay, Ore. consisted two full containment storage tanks, each with a capacity of 160,000 cubic-meters, a single marine berth for loading liquefied natural gas, and a dedicated tractor tug dock
